Basketball Recruiting Notebook — Imes To ND, Stephens Will Walk-On At IU

Hoosierland Hoopster Recruiting Run-Down (Week of May 1, 2023) 

Zionsville All-State senior guard Logan Imes committed to Notre Dame after a senior campaign where he pumped in 17 points per night. Imes was originally signed with Penn State.

New Palestine’s All-State senior gunner Ian Stephens will go PWO to Indiana. The 6-foot-5 guard averaged 16 points and 8 rebounds per game last winter

Brownsburg senior wing guard Elhadj Diallo (6-3 G) committed to Marian. Diallo dropped in 12 points per game in 2023.

Fishers junior shooting guard Taden Metzger committed to Huntington.  He’s one of the best downtown marksmen in Hoosierland. Metzger tickled the twine for 11 points per outing last season and shot 45 percent from 3-point range.

Offers of note for the Class of ’25

Fishers All-American Jalen Haralson (6-7) was offered by Notre Dame

Mt. Vernon’s tenth-grade terror Luke Ertel (6-2) was offered by UAB

Heritage Hills diaper dandy Trent Sisley (6-8)  grabbed offers from Notre Dame, Northwestern, Wisconsin and West Virginia

Lawrence North’s nasty-as-he-wants-to-be floor general Azavier “Stink” Robinson (6-2) nailed down offers over the weekend from Florida, TCU and Oklahoma State

Greenfield-Central sniper Braylon Mullins (6-5) was offered by Miami (OH)
