Basketball Recruiting Round-Up – Ferndale’s Drake Decides It’s Cleveland State, Woodhaven’s Warren To WMU

Three of the best boys basketball players in Metro Detroit’s Class of ’22 cemented their college choices this past week:

Jason Drake (Ferndale 6-1 G) — Signed with Cleveland State, Drake is a combo-guard supreme with killer instinct and finishing flair out of the backcourt. He helped take Ferndale to back-to-back Division 2 final fours after starting his prep career in the Catholic League at Orchard Lake St. Mary’s.

Elisha Warren (Woodhaven 6-2 G) — Committed to Western Michigan as a preferred walk-on, Warren is one of the best to lace’em up in the Downriver League and could be on scholarship soon. He’s natural scorer with a ton of swag to bring into the Broncos fold in K-Zoo.

Devin Lilly (Chippewa Valley 6-3 G) — Inked with Delta CC, Lilly has been a diamond in the ruff in Macomb County the last few seasons and should be DI-bound in the next two years. This kid has an upside that is incredible.
