A look at small-school hoopsters who should make a splash this fall

Here’s a list of a handful of small-school hoopsters from Metro Detroit to watch for next season:

Da’Jion Humphrey (Southfield Christian Soph. G/F) – The next great playmaker in Class D

Brian Taylor (Detroit Edison Jr. F) – The recently-crowned Class C state champion is pure power on the blocks

Noah Robak (Waterford Our Lady of the Lakes Jr. G) – The last name says it all

Josiah Smith (Birmingham Roeper Soph. G/F) – This kid is Burney’s small-school SUPERSONIC SLEEPER SPECIAL….averaged 18 points and 6 boards a game in the shadows in 2018 and is just scratching the surface on his potential. Could be bound for balling in the Ivy League in a few years
