A Match Made In Hoop Heaven – WB’s McAdoo Would Look Good In MAC Digs

The MAC needs Kevin McAdoo.

YEAH, I SAID IT!!

West Bloomfield’s scintillating 6-foot-2 senior boys basketball star has blossomed into a Division I college hoop talent this winter and in Burney’s opinion is a perfect fit for any of the programs in the Mid-American Conference. Will somebody PLEASE come in and snare this hidden gem for their incoming recruiting class!! This kid’s the definition of a super value in this area’s always-rich prospect market, a natural scorer and playmaker with so much sweetness in his stroke they should frame it and put it in a candy museum.

I saw Central Michigan in the stands towards the tail end of McAdoo razzle-dazzling his way to a 40-point effort Monday night in the Class A regional semifinals versus Howell where his Lakers rallied late for a 59-51 victory. The Chipps scout was on hand to watch the following game (Novi and Walled Lake Western’s double-OT classic that fell in Novi’s favor), but I truly hope he took notice of McAdoo too.

This has been going on all season -homeboy’s  just BUM RUSHING the comp, killing them softly with consistency and swagger.

Monday was McAdoo’s fifth outing of 30 points or more. He registered a 36-point performance against Breslin Centercontender Clarkston in the final week of the regular season. He fired in 31 points in the second half of West Bloomfield’s win over 2016 state-finalist North Farmington earlier in the year.

Don’t be shocked if my man BIG MAC is shaking and moving in East Lansing next week. That’s the kind of big-play ability we’re dealing with: BRESLIN-LEVEL skillz. The kind of skills that pay the bills and Kevin McAdoo has enough of ‘em to be cashing checks all the way to the crown. Whoever lands his services at the next level, they’re getting a doozy of a steal and will be thanking their lucky stars in a few years from now guaranteed.
