Some standouts on the gridiron from the annual Sound Mind, Sound Body camp this week:

Ambry Thomas (Detroit King WR) – May have had the best two-day showing of any in-state prospect….Yeah, I SAID IT!!

K.J. Hamler (OLSM-IMG WR-CB) – May have had the best two-day showing of any in-state player Pt.2

Allen Stritzinger (Warren DLS RB-S) – CALLING MY SHOT: Will have colossal campaign on both sides of the ball this fall after injury-filled junior season

Devonte Dobbs (Belleville OL) – Sensational talent in the trenches, incoming sophomore who will be a serious catch at the next level

Matt Harmon (Gibraltar Carlson WR-ATH) – Impressed me with his performance, look for a breakout in‘16

Scotty Nelson (Detroit U-D Jesuit ATH) – The Christian McCaffrey of the Catholic League…….please, make a note

Jairus Grissom (River Rouge QB-S) – My smooth-as-silk award goes to my man JG, I just like everything thing this kid does, he’s one cool customer

Roy McCree (Birmingham DCD LB-WR) – Earned first D1 offer from Bowling Green
