Bring This Young Man Some Crab Cakes: The ‘Fax’ Flees East

Book it. Send it in. Better yet, FAX it in.
Detroit Pershing senior basketball star David Syfax is headed to Morgan State for his college hoops. Syfax, a 6-foot-7 post player, was one of the PSL’s hidden gems the past two seasons – nice touch, solid footwork, sound work ethic. He averaged 15 points and almost 10 rebounds per night. This is a great pick up for the MSU Bears of the mid-major DI Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference.
Maryland-based Morgan State made back-to-back appearances in the Big Dance (NCAA Tournament) in 2009 and 2010. The Bears went 9-22 in 2016 and are coached by former University of Cal-Berkley sideline general Todd Bozeman. One-time University of Michigan head coach Brian Ellerbe is Bozeman’s top assistant and successfully recruited Syfax to Crab Cake Country.
