Burney’s Prospect Portal: Three sophomore football players from Indiana about to see upticks in their recruiting

Popeye Williams (Westfield 6-foot-3, 225-pound DE/OLB) — Great burst off the snap, rough, rugged and raw type potential on the edge.

• MAC offers already, Big Ten sniffing

Hunter Whitenack (New Prairie 6-foot-6, 325-pound OL) — Will challenge to be best offensive line prospect in the state’s Class of 2022.

• A number of Big Ten schools are on the verge of pulling the trigger soon.

Joe Hall (Avon 6-foot-2, 185-pound WR) — Very intriguing in flashes so far this fall, a lot of hustle and flow in his game.

• Still just scratching the surface of his talent ceiling; expect recruiting interest to increase significantly in the offseason.
