Burney’s Michigan Mr. Basketball Power Rankings — February 2020

Lorne Bowman (Orchard Lake St. Mary’s G) — Impossible to stop out of the backcourt, efficient, smooth and always ready to rumble.
Tyson Acuff (Detroit Cass Tech G) — Delivering one of the best senior campaigns in the annals of the historic PSL.
Carlos “Scooby” Johnson (Benton Harbor F) — Could easily be No. 1 in the race, pure dynamite in so many ways.
Jalen Terry (Flint Beecher G) — Could easily be No. 1 in the race, the definition of lightning in a bottle.
Matt Nicholson (Clarkston C) — Patrolling the paint right now at a level few in Oakland County have ever reached.
Isaiah Jackson (Waterford Mott F) — The top college prospect in the state isn’t putting up huge numbers, but he might be the most complete player in his class in terms of ways he impacts a game.
Jarvis Walker (Muskegon G) — Should be higher on this list, best out of the backcourt on the west side of the state.
Ryan Rollins (Macomb Dakota G) — Should be higher on this list, turning in an amazing senior season repping Macomb County.
Sir’Real Smith (Saginaw G) — A Sagnasty Special who lives up to his name; he’s the REAL DEAL, folks!
Joe “Joey Basketball” Leidel (Erie-Mason G) — The quintessential gunner….enough said!
