College Cage Destinations – Next Stop The Cheese State

A pair of the best prep hoop prospects in the state and two potential candidates for the 2017 Mr. Basketball award committed to college programs in Milwaukee this week.
Let’s take a look:
Jamal Cain (Detroit Cornerstone 6-foot 7 F) – This silky smooth 4-star swingman committed to Marquette after a heated recruiting process, which included intense interest from the power conferences. He averaged 15 points and five rebounds per night last year and also held scholarship offers from schools such as Michigan, Georgia, Florida St., Washington St., Cincinnati and Xavier. Marquette bagged another Detroiter in Detroit U-D Jesuit big fella Ike Eke back in the spring
Dylan Alderson (Clarkston 6-foot-5 G) – A fierce, fundamentally-sound competitor in the backcourt, Alderson committed to the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee on the heels of an on-campus visit to Brew Town over the weekend. Putting up 16 points, four rebounds and almost four assists a game last winter, Clarkston’s bulldog on the perimeter saw his recruiting stock spike this offseason. His Wolves team won a league and district crown in 2016
