College Football Recruiting Ticker – Local Gridders Get Plans In Order As Signing Day Approaches

Some notable late college commitments on the football field
Grand Valley State secured commitments from Jack Provencher (Utica Eisenhower RB-S), Cedric Benton (Ann Arbor Pioneer WR-S) Josh Jones (Bloomfield Hills DE-TE) and Zach Slezak (Davison OL-DL). All these guys have high-motors, high-character and extremely high upsides at the next level.
Kyle Wood (Rochester Hills Adams QB) and Jared Smith (Pewamo Westphalia RB) committed to Michigan Tech, while Saginaw Valley State snared pledges from Brent Droski (Macomb Dakota QB) and Andrew Smith (Romeo CB). Wood and Smith are just pure winners and workhorses, technicians at their craft. Droski and Smith are just scratching the surface on their potential
Sienna Heights got an absolute steal in Nick Stalworth (Clarkston LB), a demon sideline-to-sideline and just as effective containing the run, defending the pass in the flat and going after the quarterback in blitz packages.
Ferris State did some heavy lifting on the recruiting trail in the city of Dearborn, collecting commitments from Issa Khalil (Dearborn LB), Mike Phillips (Dearborn QB), Mohammed Amen (Dearborn Fordson LB) and Zein Obeid (Dearborn Fordson OL). The ‘D’ is for DYNAMITE, as in these Dearborn dynamos are about to set the GLIAC ablaze Greenfield Village –Henry Ford Museum style
Delvin Washington (Detroit East English Village QB), maybe the most undervalued field general in the PSL, has landed at Davenport. Don’t be shocked to see my main man D-Nice Washington carving apart opposing secondaries like a fat Thanksgiving turkey on Saturday afternoons of the near future
