College Football Recruiting Ticker – Offers Flood In, Visits Continue

Running down the last week in college football recruiting in the state of Michigan:
Julian Barnett (Belleville Soph. WR) got SEC offers from Auburn and Georgia. Can you say ‘Big Play J"?
DeAndre Square (Detroit Cass Tech Jr. S), Jaylan Franklin (Gibraltar Carlson ATH) and Taj Mustapha (West Bloomfield WR) were all offered by Purdue. Mustapha visited Syracuse last weekend, Square took a trip to Columbus to visit Ohio State in late March.
Two-sport star Davion Williams (Belleville Jr. CB) was offered by Iowa. Williams is a Division I recruit as a point guard on the basketball floor too.
Jaren Mangham (Detroit Cass Tech Soph. RB) was offered by Arizona. He is also a terrific linebacker on the defensive side of the ball.
Jaylen Mayfield (Grand Rapids Catholic Central Jr. OL), who recently de-committed from Minnesota, visited Iowa last weekend.
Maybe the offseason’s hottest prospect in the Mitten, Ryan Hayes (Traverse City West Jr. OL) took recent visits to Michigan, Michigan State and Notre Dame.
Four-star Antwan Reed (Muskegon Jr. OL) snared a scholarship offer from Indiana University.
Four-star Logan Brown (East Kentwood Soph. OL) snared a scholarship offer from Louisville.
From the mid-major ranks, Quinton Barrow (Romulus Jr. OL) took home a bid from Bowling Green and Spencer Brown (Walled Lake Western Soph. OL) bagged a Ball State offer. Brown was on an unofficial visit to Indiana last weekend with his brother, fab frosh C.J. Brown (RB).
