Coming Into The Fold – From O-Town To C-Town

By: Scott Burnstein, January 16, 2016, 5:56 pm

The Clarkston boys hoops program recently added Tristen Mysen into the mix.

Mysen, a 6-foot-5 sophomore forward, came over to the Wolfpack from Oxford. He most likely won’t be eligible to suit up for Clarkston until next season, but he’ll make a major impact when he does finally make it on to the court for the C-Town Cage Crew. Selected to participate in the prestigious Michigan Elite 25, Mysen is an agile and active presence in the paint and on the wing. He played JV at Oxford last season.

Besides his natural athleticism, he’s an intelligent competitor with an ironclad work ethic – in other words, a Team Fife Special!!

Clarkson is 5-1 so far this year. On Thursday evening, with Mysen watching his new squad from the bench in street clothes, the Wolves whipped up on OAA Red-rival North Farmington 60-47. This winter’s big transfer, 6-foot-4 junior combo guard Dylan Alderson (Davison) pumped in a season-high 27 pts for C-Town Hardwood Nation on Thursday.
