Here’s a breakdown of some recent boys basketball coaching hires around the state:

 

Kyle Clough (Rockford) – Corunna alum (Class of 2003) and former Corunna coach gets the nod for RamNation after spending the past couples seasons pacing the sidelines at Seymour High School in Seymour, Indiana. Took Corunna to league and district titles at the beginning of the decade and shows tremendous promise as a possible “next great” in the bench baron business.

 

Brad Crighton (Rochester Hills Adams) – Adams alum returns home after building the girls program crosstown at Stoney Creek into an Oakland County power and taking a year off. Was a masterful outside gunner as a prepster for the Highlanders Hoop Crew in the 1990s so you can bet the Highlanders will be one of the better area shooting squads for years to come.

 

Mike Avery (Southfield A&T) – Word on the street is that former Southfield-Lathrup and current Southfield HS coach will now spearhead the newly-mergedA&T club, tasked with getting the freshly-minted Warriors’ program off the ground. All Burney can say is – The perfect man for the job!!
