Dakota’s Dog On The Prowl In Playoff Time

The Pitbull is loose. I’m talking about Macomb Dakota football star Brandon Pittman. This kid is off-the-chain good. He plays with tenacity, passion and intelligence. And on both sides of the ball. Pittman is the engine that makes Dakota’s offense and defense run with rapid-fire precision these days.
The Cougars’ senior captain has been the club’s quarterback on ‘D’ at middle linebacker the past two years, tackling anything that enters his vicinity, flying around the ball like a hungry vulture. With the recent injury to all-league tailback Kaiser Carleton, Pittman, a former short-yardage specialist, has taken over primary ball-carrying duties for Dakota in the playoffs.
Last Friday night, he was a total MONSTER, registering 165 yards and three touchdowns to take the Cougars to a 31-8 dusting of Utica IKE and the team’s fourth straight Division 1 district championship.
Expect more of the same in the regionals against mighty Detroit Cass Tech. The Cougars’ Den is now The Dog House thanks to Dakota’s Pitbull Pittman…..please make a note!!
