4 Brady Rose (Muskegon Mona Shores) — One of the most beautiful and CASH MONEY back-up efforts in the history of the MHSAA final four, taking the reins in the first quarter of the semis and straight lapping the comp in his 7.5 quarters of action under center delivering the Sailors the program’s first state crown.

Stats: Throws for 122 yards and a TD and rushes for 90 yards and 3 TDs (he had 10 tackles in the secondary too for good measure!!) in a 35-26 downing of favored Detroit King in D2.

5 Zach Gillespie (Lansing Catholic) — Caps one of the true great breakout senior campaigns of all-time.

Stats: Throws for 187 yards and two TDs and motors for 45 yards and two TDs in a 31-17 defeat of Almont in D5.
