Football Recruiting Roundup – Mid-Major Field Day, MAC Nabs 4 From Mitten

The Mid-American Conference just gobbled up some of the state’s top football recruits in the Class of 2018.
Alright, let’s break down these recent college connections on the gridiron.
Aaron Jackson (Detroit Cass Tech QB) – This 6-foot-2, 215-pound dual-threat signal caller committed to Eastern Michigan. Looking sharp in spot duty the last few years for the national-power Technicians, the job under center is finally all his come this fall. The CT field general chose EMU over Central Michigan, Western Illinois and Morgan State.
Patrick Lupro (Belleville CB) – One of the best secondary prospects in his class, Lupro (5-foot-10, 195 pounds) committed to Bowling Green. The 3-star cover corner selected BG over Cincinnati, Syracuse, Toledo and Eastern Michigan. Can you say steal?
Ronnie Buford (Chelsea DE) – A long, tall, athletic and hungry pass-rush prodigy just starting to scratch the surface on his talent surge, Buford (6-foot-5, 220 pounds) pounced on his first scholarship offer, committing to Western Michigan. Burney says: high value, high impact in the ‘Zoo.
Tyden Ferris (Delton-Kellogg DE) – Chiseled and ready to churn and burn at the next level making his way into opponents’ backfields, Ferris (6-foot-4, 245 pounds) committed to Central Michigan. This raw, upside-heavy defensive diamond in the ruff just attained 3-star prospect status. CMU is his only current collegeoffer, but like in the case of Ronnie Buford at Chelsea, I suspect there are more bids coming down the pike in the near future for him.
