Lawrence Central’s Jasen Graves picks football at NAIA powerhouse Marian University

Lawrence Central’s Jasen Graves, a true diamond in the ruff on the gridiron at the quarterback position, will play his college football near home at NAIA power Marian University in Indianapolis.

Graves (6-foot-0, 195) has been the best player on an unsuccessful team the past two years. Back in the fall, he threw for 1,010 yards and 10 touchdowns in six games of action. As a junior in 2018, he racked up 2,118 yards and 15 touchdowns in the air. His Bears only won a combined three games in those two seasons.

He can get busy on the basketball court too. Averaging 10 points per game on a stacked LC squad (21-2), Graves is a two-sport delight like few in the Circle City.

Marian is coming off a trip to the NAIA national championship game. The program was started in 2007 and has already claimed two national titles (2012, 2015).
