MIDWEST RECRUITING: A dozen QBs from around the IHSAA that you need to know for the summer of 2019

A dozen quarterbacks from around the IHSAA that you need to know about going into the summer:
Maximus Grimes (Lafayette Jefferson, 6-foot-3, 215 pounds) — Game-changer in every way under center, the great equalizer, simply a machine mowing down the comp. He threw for 3,455 yards and 49 touchdowns with a 65 percent completion percentage as a sophomore last fall.
Orin Edwards (Indianapolis Cathedral, 6-foot-2, 185 pounds) — Slick signal-caller who always seems to master the moment. Just dripping with finesse in the pocket. Edwards threw for 2,400 yards and 23 touchdowns during his junior campaign in 2018.
Spencer Wright (Western Boone, 6-foot-1, 180 pounds) — If loving this state-champion gunslinger is wrong, I don’t want to be right!!! He threw for 2,475 yards and 31 touchdowns last season as a junior and is a mega baller and shot caller that doesn’t always get his due credit.
Kyle Adams (West Lafayette, 6-foot-1.5, 190 pounds) — Cold-blooded assassin running an offense, shreds secondaries like an old-school Drew Brees in his college days with the Boilermakers. Adams threw for a state-best 3,945 yards and 47 touchdowns in 2018.
Henry Hesson (Avon, 6-foot-2.5, 195 pounds) — Just starting to scratch the surface on his potential, excellent mechanics and understanding of the position. He threw for 1,900 yards and 17 touchdowns last year as a sophomore.
Rhett Snodgrass (Mt. Vernon, 6-foot-2, 220 pounds) — Firestarter, flamethrower, game spitter in the huddle, “ROBO RHETT” got busy for 2,150 yards and 28 touchdowns through the air last season against a mere three picks.
Cole Gilley (Columbus East, 6-foot-1, 205 pounds) — The epitome of a “Lock-and-Load Lynchpin,” who lives for the heat of the battle, Gilley dissected defenses to the tune of 2,475 yards and 28 touchdowns in 2018.
Jack Henninger (Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter, 6-foot-2, 185 pounds) — Smart, gutty field general who is poised for a big 2019 campaign after throwing for 1,540 yards and 10 touchdowns last season.
Logan White (Parke Heritage, 6-foot-2, 220 pounds) — This kid makes BOSS MOVES under center, lit like a neon sign in Times Square. I’m talking 2,700 yards and 28 touchdowns in 2018 people!!
Cole Jax Alexander (Lapel, 6-foot-2, 195 pounds) — Tremendous arm-strength, accuracy and natural feel for the position. A true SWAG NASTY!! He threw for 2,985 yards and 33 touchdowns last year.
Jasen Graves (Pike 6-foot-2, 180 pounds) — Maybe the most underrated quarterback and two-sport star (he also shoots the lights out from deep on the hardwood) operating in Indy right now. Slippery moving around the pocket, super savvy and throws laser beams, as in 2,080 yards, 17 touchdowns last year.
Cole Happe (Evansville Mater Dei 6-foot-1, 185 pounds) — A quick trigger and steely demeanor directing an offense are this playmaker’s trademarks chucking the pigskin. He threw for 1,850 yards and 20 touchdowns in 2018.
