MIDWEST RECRUITING: De La Salle’s Toutant flips from Penn State to Ohio State; Walled Lake Northern’s Arnoldi picks WMU

A couple of big nasties from the Mitten made moves in the recruiting game in recent days.
Warren De La Salle offensive lineman Grant Toutant flipped from Penn State to Ohio State over the weekend and Walled Lake Northern offensive lineman Kyle Arnoldi committed to Western Michigan.
The behemoth Toutant (6-foot-7, 325 pounds) is a four-star prospect and the state’s No. 2 recruit on the O-Line behind five-star blue-chipper Justin Rogers out of Oak Park — Rogers committed to Kentucky last month. Toutant been a part of two straight Division 2 state championship squads at De La Salle and will be going for the three-peat this fall as a senior. Ohio State has now snatched two recruits from Penn State in the past 10 days.
Arnoldi (6-foot-5, 275 pounds) is a three-year starter at Northern. He was an all-state pick in 2018. Cincinnati, Central Michigan, Eastern Michigan, Ball State, Buffalo and Toledo had all offered.
