Detroit Edison all-state girls hoopster Rickea Jackson, probably the early favorite to win next winter’s Miss Basketball award, was selected to compete for Team USA in this summer’s 17-U World Cup. Jackson plays on the wing and was the Gatorade Player of the Year for the state of Michigan in 2018 while sparking her Edison club to a repeat Class C state crown.
