Maybe weapon is a better way to describe Taylor Smith, the Highlanders senior transfer from Linden. This first-team All-Flint Metro League pick will take the OAA by storm. She’s a typhoon of terror, a sharpened blade on the hardwood who slices and dices the comp at will.
Her smooth, savvy ways in the backcourt and natural nose for the bottom of the net will be undeniable once she finally makes her OAA debut in December. That’s what over 16 points and four assists a night over the past two years at Linden should tells you.
Expect Smith and junior Maggie Rogers to give Adams a lights-out 1-2-punch of an attack in the backcourt in 2016.
