OAA BOYS BASKETBALL POWER RANKINGS: Backcourts, part 2
Here are the second part of Scott Burnstein’s power rankings of the backcourt players in the Oakland Activities Association:
Wing Guard
1 Jamal Hayes (North Farmington Sr.) — The model of consistency and efficiency on both ends of the floor.
2 Deon Hayes (North Farmington Jr.) — Baby-faced assassin, total baller.
3 Mason Canfield (Bloomfield Hills Jr.) — Gritty gunner, grind-and-shine 24/7.
4 Zach Townsend (Oxford Jr.) — Ready to erupt like a volcano this winter.
5 Ryan Hurst (West Bloomfield Fr.) — Lethal weapon in training and school’s out!!
Shooting Guard
1 Brody Parker (Troy Jr.) — Nobody with a better nose for the hoop in the OAA than my man B-Nasty and that’s a FACT!!
2 Tariq Humes (Farmington Jr.) — Could be the most dangerous 3-point shooter in the OAA.
3 Cole Donchez (Clarkston Sr.) — Stemming from a long line of Wolfpack snipers, Donchez is DYNAMITE from beyond the arc.
4 Alex Reiter (Stoney Creek Jr.) — Check the name, license to thrill from downtown goes with the gene pool.
5 Ari Belchinsky (Berkley Sr.) — Sweet-tooth touch, nice form, fast trigger.
