OAA BOYS BASKETBALL POWER RANKINGS: Frontcourts

Here are Scott Burnstein’s power rankings of the front court players in the Oakland Activities Association:
Small Forward
1 Trey Townsend (Oxford Sr.) — Tougher than leather, smooth as silk.
2 Jayshawn Moore (Ferndale Sr.) — Nasty net ripper who can change a game in the blink of an eye.
3 Peyton Prieskorn (Rochester Adams Sr.) — Precision personified on the wing.
4 Robert Davis (Farmington Soph.) — Long, lean and mean with an upside through the roof.
5 Dylan Boedigheimer (Lake Orion Sr.) — Probably the best wing defender in the league.
Power Forward
1 Maliq Carr (Oak Park Sr.) — Rare gem of a playmaker out of the frontcourt, dominates baseline-to-baseline with brute force and sheer willpower. (Leaving to play football and basketball at Purdue in January.)
2 Colin Golson (Ferndale Sr.) — Maybe the top motor in the league, so much hustle, so much heart.
3 Basheer Jihad (North Farmington Jr.) — Scary potential, his prospect status in college recruiting circles couldn’t be any hotter right now, will be the most improved player in the league.
4 Austin Ursuy (Rochester Adams Sr.) — Back with vengeance from an injury that kept him out all of last season, a Sir-Grind-A-Lot Special for sure.
5 Mike DePillo (Clarkston Soph.) — The quarterback can play a little hoops, banger with a shooting touch.
