On To Bigger & Better Things – UDJ Hoopster Heads To Big Ten

Same state, different school…..Better conference.
Detroit U-D Jesuit basketball star Greg Eboigbodin committed to the University of Illinois this week, over a month after de-committing to the University of Illinois-Chicago. The 6-foot-9 Eboigbodin is a walking and talking rebounding and swat clinic.
He helped U-D-Jesuit win a Class A state championship in 2016 and this past February claimed a third-straight Catholic League crown for himself. Eboigbodin and his Cubs lost in the quarterfinals of the state tournament back in March.
Fellow departing U-D Jesuit twin tower Ike Eke is headed to Marquette.
Expect incoming junior Jalen Thomas (6-foot-9) to blossom into a force to be reckoned with in the paint for the Cubbies these next two years in place of Eke and Eboigbodin.
