Orange Is The Color – EEV’s Sampson Selects Syracuse
The best offensive lineman on the football field in the PSL is off the market.
Detroit East English Village center Tyrone Sampson (6-foot-4, 300 pounds) committed to Syracuse University this week. Sampson is a 4-star prospect and has excelled at a series of offseason combines and showcase camps. He’s the third commit for the Orange’s Class of 2018 recruiting crop and their first 4-star get.
In addition to the ‘Cuse, EEV’s ‘Man-child in the Middle,’ currently holds close to a dozen scholarship offers, including power-conference bids from Indiana, Kentucky, Louisville, Minnesota and Virginia. As a sophomore in 2015, Sampson helped lead the ‘Ville to a district championship.
