QB Questions At The Park – Young Pup or The Vet?
We’ve got a quarterback controversy brewing over at Oak Park these days. Senior signal caller and three year starter Chauncey Lowman is graduating and there are two pretty impressive candidates to take his place under center for Team Carter.
Ok first there’s the Phenom: incoming sophomore Dwan Mathis, one of the most dynamic prospects in the Class of 2019, a total freak athlete with an upside on the moon (he’s got multiple DI offers already without having taken a varsity snap).
Then we’ve got the seasoned gunner Dwight Lynum who got to OP this winter from Detroit Central where he was second team All-PSL in 2015. He’s a fearless field general too!
What is Coach Carter going to do ? Burney predicts one will be playing wide receiver as the other torches secondaries with his arm and decimates pass rushers with his feet.
