Ready For A Great Senior Year – Gridders To Watch For In ’17

By: Jeff Dullack, June 6, 2017, 12:20 pm
Burney thinks these six incoming seniors will have big seasons on the football field in 2017:

Jerrin Harvey (Farmington Hills Harrison LB) – A tackling machine playing alongside Notre Dame-commit Ovie Oghoufo in the Hawks’ linebacker corps to give TEAM HERRINGTON a NASTY 1-2 punch sideline-to-sideline

Jack Sape (Bloomfield Hills DE) – Maybe the best pass rusher in Metro Detroit you don’t know about but should….YEAH, I SAID IT!!!

Chase Churchill (Richmond QB) – This gunslinger is gearing up for a GINORMOUS campaign under center….don’t say Burney didn’t warn you!!

Mike Laurencelle (Birmingham Brother Rice DE) – Relentless competitor, endless motor coming off the edge, Grade-A gridiron IQ

James Davis (Detroit King OL) – A natural at the point of attack, excellent technique and footwork, tremendous will to win and improve

Caden Prieskorn (Orchard Lake St. Mary’s QB) – Possesses all the tools you want in a go-to signal caller, definition of a pure drop-back passer and secondary surgeon, probably the top value grab in the Class of 2018’s in-state field general crop
