By: Scott Burnstein, June 21, 2018, 9:40 am

The start of summer has brought a flurry of college commitments from the state’s top incoming senior football players. Let’s break down the movement on the Class of 2019 recruiting board:

River Rouge DE Ruke Orhorhoro – The 6-5, 275-pound defensive end is ready to be devouring quarterbacks in the SEC and committed to Clemson, concluding a whirlwind 60 days where his recruiting stock went through the roof

Grand Rapids South Christian OL Spencer Holstege – After de-committing from Miami (OH), this 6-5, 285-pound road grader in the trenches upped the ante by committing to play in the Big Ten at Purdue

Saline S MJ Griffin – This sleek, smooth mover and shaker in the secondary will be in Cheesecake heaven soon, committing to Temple University out in Philly

Southfield A&T CB Nic Jones – One of the most underrated prospects in his class, the sticky cover corner with a mad nice motor, committed to Ball State

Detroit King LB Rich Miller – Talk about great value! – Miller, the picture of efficiency and toughness sideline to sideline, committed to Buffalo

Muskegon Mona Shores WR Damari Roberson – Maybe the most dangerous pass catcher on the west side, Roberson committed to Western Michigan

From the Class of 2020, Belleville speedster Andre Seldon (cornerback), committed to Michigan just days after being clocked running a 4.4 40 at a camp.
