Red Alert In Southfield – Star Rusher Comes Back To Town

Eric (Red) McArn returned to Southfield A&T this week for the first week of football practice. He was welcomed with open arms to say the least.
Committed to Central Michigan, the talented ball carrier transferred back into the Southfield school district after spending the end of the last school year at two-time defending Division 2 state-champion Detroit King.
As a sophomore, McArn rushed for 1,300 yards and 11 touchdowns. Last fall, he was banged up and played sparingly due to injury. A&T claimed a Division 1 district title in 2016.
McArn was one of four college prospects that departed the A&T program last winter. Brandon Gray (WR), Andre Carter (DE) and Lew Nichols (RB) left for defending Division 1 state champ Detroit Cass Tech in February.
