Skyline leads Okemos 7-0, game called with 1:50 left in first quarter due to lightning

Ann Arbor – The game between Ann Arbor Skyline and Okemos on Thursday was postponed until Friday. Game time is to be announced later. It’s possible it could start at 1 p.m.
Skyline led 7-0 with 1:50 left in the first quarter when the game was called because of lightning.
The game was originally scheduled to start at 7 p.m. Lighting delayed the start until 10 p.m.
According to Michigan High School Athletic Association rules no game can start after 10 p.m.
The game will resume with Skyline (1-0) facing a first and goal at the Okemos 5-yard line.
Skyline drove 40 yards to score its touchdown. Darryn Davis threw a 7-yard touchdown pass to Daelin Hayes with 3:51 left in the quarter.
Charles Jones had 37 yards on six carries for Skyline.
Okemos entered the game 0-1.
