By: , May 14, 2020, 11:43 am

Elkhart Central junior defensive end Rodney McGraw and Merrillville junior wide receiver JoJo Johnson changed courses in their college recruitment last week. McGraw (6-foot-5, 235 pounds) flipped his commitment from Indiana to Penn State and Johnson (5-11, 180) de-committed from Northern Illinois and decided to head to Cincinnati instead.

Last season, McGraw, the No. 6 overall ranked player in the state of Indiana according to 247Sports, collected 75 tackles and nine sacks.

Johnson transferred to Merrillville back in January after spending his first three years of high school at Hammond Morton. He tallied 850 combined yards from scrimmage in 2019.

Eight is Enough: Sophomore Show & Tell

Colin Price (Zionsville RB) — High-wattage talent any way you cut it, a lot of wow factor.

Daniel Weems (Center Grove RB) — One coldblooded customer carrying the rock.

Hunter Whitenack (New Prairie OL) — A new G with an OG style in the trenches, about to catch fire on the recruiting trail.

Foster Wertz (Decatur Central OL) — Total workhorse at the point of attack.

Keagan LaBelle (Mt. Vernon CB) — Spark plug in the secondary, major league motor.

Cornell Branch (Michigan City LB) — Such a hard hitter, think blunt force trauma.

Crishon McCray (Avon RB) — Hurricane of hustle and flow out of the backfield.

Joe Hall (Avon WR) — Jolt of energy in the pass game, clever route runner.
