STATE CHAMPS! SCOUT TEAM: Flint Powers’ Owen Lobsinger commits to Western Michigan for hoops
Flint Powers’ Owen Lobsinger made his college choice on Wednesday, deciding to head across the state to continue his basketball career at Western Michigan.
The 6-foot-7 small forward made his announcement with a post on Twitter.
With Lobsinger limited to 12 games by injury last season, the Chargers went 11-11, but made it to the district finals in Division 2. As a junior, Lobsinger averaged 13.2 points, 9.7 rebounds and 1.5 steals, shooting 45 percent from the field.
Lobsinger chose the Broncos from four offers, including Central Michigan, Toledo and Saginaw Valley State. He ranked No. 55 on the STATE CHAMPS! Top 100 list entering last season.
