Fly baby fly!
Livonia Franklin junior offensive lineman Kyle Fugedi committed to the Miami (OH) Red Hawks this week. Fugedi (6-foot-6, 275 pounds) is a tackle and has just really starting to gain traction in his recruiting. Indiana and Kentucky were his first two Power 5 conference offers back in January. He’s got excellent footwork and an intense motor and work ethic. His jump off the snap in pass coverage is top rate and he boasts durability that can set him apart at his position. Don’t be surprised if Michigan and Michigan State enter the picture this offseason and try to woo Fugedi away from the Red Hawks.

• Fenton junior offensive lineman Josh Thompson got his first bid from the Big Ten this week when Northwestern offered.
• East Lansing junior offensive lineman Ethan Boyd, one of the hottest recruits in the state right now, snagged a Michigan State offer.

• Oak Park junior offensive lineman Rayshaun Benny, tapped a four-star prospect by most recruiting services, visited Michigan State last weekend.
