The Top 10 Hardest Runners In The IHSAA

Tommy Burbee (Valparaiso 6-1, 180 Sr.) — Focus, determination and field vision, runs like a rabid dog chasing his favorite bone.

Jake Fike (East Central 6-1, 210 Sr.) — Just a force of nature toting the pigskin, could be best in the whole state going up in the middle.

Carson Steele (Center Grove 6-2, 210 Sr.) — Injury only made him tougher, ginormous senior season on the horizon.

Wenkers Wright (Floyd Central 6-2, 190 Sr.) — Tsunami of swagger and steely-eyed hunger rushing the rock.

Omarion Dixon (Harrison 6-1, 205 Sr.) — Perfect mix of power and finesse, a closer.

Jerry Padgett (Western 5-9, 185 Sr.) — Iron-sharpens-iron type, fierce competitor.

Colin Price (Zionsville 6-0, 190 Jr.) — Intelligent and strong-willed running the ball, once he sees an opening in the defense, that’s all she wrote … lights out, baby! Can you say PRICELESS?

Jalen Ward (Franklin 5-8, 180 Sr.) — Runs with a ton of heart and smash-mouth intensity, has the wheels to find the edge

Baron Huebler (Roncalli 5-9, 180 Sr.) — Barrage of grit, gamesmanship and gutty perseverance every time he touches the ball.

(tie) Devin Mockobee (Boonville 6-0, 190 Sr.) — Probably the most undervalued tailback prospect in the state right now, total sleeper of a lightning-in-a-bottle baller prospect.

(tie) Ryan Walsh (Andrean 6-0, 175) — Fire-and-brimstone, no-nonsense kind of back who outworks the comp on every snap.
