STATE CHAMPS! SCOUT TEAM: Hooping into summer — Recruiting game breakouts on the horizon for this Michigan 10-pack

Here are ten MHSAA boys basketball recruits to watch for gaining traction with suitors over these next few months:
Jalen Charity (Grand Rapids Northview 6-foot-4 G 2022) — Killer combo guard, lives by the big bang theory, in other words, knows how to make a splash.
Jason Drake (Orchard Lake St. Mary’s 6-1 G 2022) — This silent assassin won’t be so silent anymore when this summer is over and he has a treasure trove of offers.
Delricco Gillespie (Benton Harbor 6-7 2022) — One of the most intriguing frontcourt recruits on the west side of the state, ride-or-die type around the rim.
Deon Hayes (North Farmington 6-3 G 2021) — Possibly the OAA’s most underrated incoming senior, checks all the proverbial boxes.
Cole Jenema (Cadillac 6-7 F 2022) — Best kept secret in his class right now, not for long though.
Sammy Leppien (Alma 6-8 F 2022) — A true hidden gem in the recruiting game, pick-and-pop specialist.
Chris Mutebi (UD-Jesuit 6-5 G/F 2022) — Fierce competitor, simply a baller baseline to baseline.
Jay Wallace (Williamston 6-5 G 2022) — Efficient and economical style of game, student of the hardwood, relentless spirit.
Keegan Wasilk (Clarkston 6-2 G 2022) — Gym rat of a floor general, fearless leader, high motor.
Jack Williams (Ann Arbor Skyline 6-3 G 2021) — Maybe the best pure shooter you don’t know but need to ASAP.
