A three-year starter for the Jenison Wildcats, and a top-100 recruit in the nation in the class of 2021 according to ESPN HoopGurlz ratings, Jenison wing Ally VanTimmeren announced her commitment to Boston College on Tuesday.

She made her announcement with a post on Twitter.

The 6-foot-3 VanTimmeren averaged 20 points, 10 rebounds and four blocks for the Wildcats this past season, earning first-team all-state honors from The Associated Press, and ‘Best of the Best’ honors on the BCAM’s Best list.

ESPN’s HoopGurlz rankings list VanTimmeren as a three-star prospect.

VanTimmeren chose the Eagles from among a reported 27 Power 5 offers. She’s part of a deep 2021 class in Michigan that includes Adrian Lenawee Christian’s Bree Salenbien (Gonzaga), Detroit Edison’s Damiya Hagemann, Hamilton’s A.J. Ediger (Iowa), Kalamazoo Central’s Morasha Wiggins and East Grand Rapids’ Jillian Brown (Northwestern), just as a start.
