STATE CHAMPS! SCOUT TEAM: Pen in hand for Indiana hoopsters — Value abounds on Signing Day

Here are four girls basketball players in Indiana inking with Division I colleges this week and providing their respective future programs great value in the prospect market for the Class of 2020.
Katie Davidson (Lawrence North F) — Signing with Miami (Ohio), Davidson is a dandy on the wing, crafty and consistent. She posted 15 points and seven boards per night on a North squad that advanced into the Class 4A state finals last winter.
Alana Vinson (Roncalli F) — Signing with Eastern Illinois, Vinson embodies everything you want in a competitor. On the floor, she’s equally tough and smart. Vinson averaged 16 points and six rebounds a night in 2019.
Maya Chandler (Triton Central G) — Signing with Loyola (Ill.), Chandler is an electric playmaker who makes everyone around her on the court better. One of the highest hardwood IQs in the heartland, she dotted the stat sheet for 15 points, five assists and five rebounds a game as a junior.
Rachel Loobie (Franklin Central F) — Signing with Central Michigan, Loobie looms large in the paint and has an excellent motor baseline to baseline. She tallied 20 points and 10 rebounds per outing last season and showed athleticism and finishing ability around the rim and running the floor.
