STATE CHAMPS! SCOUT TEAM: Rushing Into Summer > IHSAA Offseason RB Forecast

Five Indiana RB prospects Burney foresees making big strides in their recruiting resumes this summer:
Wenkers Wright (Floyd Central 6-2, 185 Class of 2021) — Expect this two-star workhorse tailback to be a three-star, at least, by Labor Day. The “Haitian Hurricane” is a destructive presence rushing the rock, kind of like the natural disaster he gets his nickname from. He brings the pain on every carry and has the speed, field vision and toughness to make him a recruit with tremendous value. Bowling Green, Illinois State and Indiana State have offered.
2019 Stats: 2,056 yards, 26 touchdowns
Myles Johnson (New Albany 6-0, 180 Class of 2022) — Mega playmaker in the making, this Southern Indiana sensation is about to be all the rage in the area’s gridiron recruiting circles.
2019 stats: 1,231 yards and seven touchdowns
Omarion Dixon (West Lafayette Harrison 6-1, 205 Class of 2021) — Force of nature whenever he touches the ball type who is not getting nearly enough love in the recruiting game. Tape don’t lie!!
2019 stats: 2,538 yards and 26 touchdowns
Shoka Griffin (Muncie Central 5-10, 200 Class of 2022) — The quintessential power back prospect, plays with spunk, has a Grade-A motor.
2019 stats: 1,575 yards and 17 touchdowns
Khalid Stamps (Marion 5-8, 170 Class of 2021) — Elusive, scrappy and a sprinter’s spurt off the snap.
2019 stats: 1,580 yards and 20 touchdowns
