The Cincinnati Kid – Bearcats Grab A Warrior Of A Talent At LB

The OAA’s Big MAC is going to be a Bearcat.

Southfield A&T senior football star Lorenzo McCaskill waited until the start of the season to get his college plans in order. Last week, McCaskill (6-foot-2, 225 pounds) committed to the University of Cincinnati.  He’s one of the top outside linebacker prospects in the state – we’re talking strong, smart and fast sideline-to-sideline. As a junior in 2015 at Southfield, he collected 85 tackles and four quarterback sacks.

Besides Cincinnati, McCaskill, considered a 3-star recruit, held offers from over a half-dozen MAC programs and power-conference bids from Purdue and Syracuse. His A&T Warriors are 1-2 so far this fall, losing to Birmingham Groves 13-7 Friday in action out of the OAA. McCaskill corralled eight tackles in defeat.
