Top girls basketball games in Michigan for final week of the 2019-20 regular season

By: , February 24, 2020, 5:12 pm

It’s banner season in girls basketball in Michigan, as any unresolved league races have come down to the last week of the regular season. There are a number of key contests between contenders, but for a lot of teams, it’s just a matter of not slipping up before districts start, and holding serve, so to speak. After the CHSL and MAC wrapped up their league tournaments last week, the KLAA will have its small, four-team tourney this week to settle the overall champion between the divisions (it’ll be either Wednesday or Thursday, depending on who wins Monday’s showdown at Wayne between the Zebras and Brighton). After that, the lone conference championship game will be the Saginaw Valley on Friday, when Midland Dow and Flint Carman-Ainsworth hook up again.
