Watching The Throne – How To Crown A Hoop King (Mr. Basketball Review)

Burney’s 2017 Mr. Basketball Finalist Breakdown – Ranking The Candidates
1. Greg Elliott (Detroit East English Village G) – Probably won’t win the award (taking the honor from within the Detroit city limits is sometimes difficult because of regional vote distribution), however, is having one of the all-time best individual senior campaigns in the storied annals of the PSL……YEAH, I SAID IT!!!
2. Amauri Hardy (North Farmington G) – SEC sizzle and swag, tremendous durability, somehow getting better as season progresses, pumping in 30 a night and making it look EASY!!!
3. Xavier Tillman (Grand Rapids Christian F) – Early frontrunner for the hardware, picture of consistency and power in the post, will sweep the Westside voting for sure
4. Jamal Cain (Detroit Cornerstone F) – The total package on the wing, is everything you could ever desire in a small forward, not enough people saw him though
5. Isaiah Livers (Kalamazoo Central F) – LIVING for the moment, LIGHTING IT UP and laser focused, plain and simple….. it’s all gravy for this Big Ten-bound frontcourt phenom just starting to come into his own on the hardwood
6. Jason Whittens (Powers North Central F) – Sir-Grind-A-Lot Special representing hard core for the UP, will haul in all the votes from north of Traverse City
Where is this guy? Jermaine Jackson, Jr. (Macomb Dakota G) – IMO should definitely be in the race, I mean what more does a guy got to do?
