Meghan Beaubien - 2017 WINNER!

Monroe St. Mary Catholic Central | Pitcher - Senior

Signed with Michigan. A four-year starter, Beaubien led her team to the Division 3 title each of the past two seasons. Beaubien is lefthander who was 22-1 last season and in 150 innings she had 308 strikeouts. She batted .482. In the semifinal last season Beaubien threw a five-inning, perfect game. Through 24 games this season Beaubien is batting .452 (42-93) with a .505 on-base percentage. She’s 20-1 with a 0.34 ERA. She’s struck out 299 in 146 innings and issued 10 walks. Beaubien has tossed 14 shutouts and opposing batters are hitting .096. “She’s very intelligent,” coach John Morningstar said. “She thinks practically and logically.”

Paige Blevins

Clarkston | Shortstop - Junior

Committed to Central Michigan. A three-year starter, Blevins has a strong throwing arm and a tremendous work ethic. Blevins batted .513 last season with 56 RBI, 49 runs scored and a school record 11 home runs. Blevins had a .991 slugging percentage. Clarkston won the OAA Red Division title with an 11-1 record and through 34 games Blevins is batting .500 (77-134) with 67 RBI and 54 runs scored. She has 11 doubles, four triples, 14 home runs and 12 walks. Her on-base percentage is .547 and her slugging percentage is .955.

Jenny Bressler

Plymouth | Pitcher - Junior

Committed to Texas-Arlington. Bressler started as a freshman and she will also see time on the right side of the infield. Bressler is a good athlete who fields her position well. Bressler was 19-4 with a 1.07 ERA. In 176 innings she struck out 265. She batted .371 (33-89). This season Bressler is 20-3 with a 0.69 ERA. In 152 innings Bressler struck out 283 and walked 28. She batted .390 (39-100) with 16 doubles and 25 RBI. In 110 plate appearances Bressler struck out six times. “Jenny is a pitcher who I can put at any position,” coach Lauren Delapaz said. “She’s hit in the top five of our lineup since her freshman year.”

Kendahl Dunford

Macomb Dakota | Pitcher - Senior

Signed with Florida International. Dunford led the Cougars to their first state final as she compiled a 35-3 record. She bats in the meat of Dakota’s lineup and she hit seven home runs last season. Through 30 games this season Dunford is 30-2 and has tossed 10 shutouts. In 154 innings Dunford has struck out 191 and her ERA is 0.89. Dunford is batting .330 with 27 RBI, 20 walks and three home runs. Her on-base percentage is .448. “Mentally she’s improved her game,” coach Rick Fontaine said. “She’s more confident, more relaxed.”
