Finalists for the 2017 Mr. Basketball Award announced

The Basketball Coaches Association of Michigan has announced the candidates for the 2017 Mr. Basketball Award.
This year there are six candidates and they are, in alphabetical order, Jamal Cain of Detroit Cornerstone, Greg Elliott of Detroit East English Village Prep, Amauri Hardy of North Farmington, Isaiah Livers of Kalamazoo Central, Xavier Tillman of Grand Rapids Christian and Jason Whitens of Powers North Central.
Cain signed with Marquette, Hardy signed with Oklahoma State, Livers signed with Michigan and Tillman signed with Michigan State. Elliott and Whitens have not signed or committed to a university at this time.
The winner will be announced March 20 and voting is limited to BCAM members who are currently coaching.
