FOOTBALL: A number of players receive college offers at the Sound Mind Sound Body camp
HARPER WOODS, Mich. – Every year some high school player has their life changed at the Sound Mind Sound Body football camp. Whether it’s just talking to the many college coaches that are there, or receiving a scholarship to play at the next level.
While a lot of the campers every year already enter the camp with an offer, some who come in with none, will leave saying I earned my first college offer. This year’s camp say 23 total offers handed out to 19 different players on Friday and Thursday. One player earned their first one, 2016 defensive back LaVert Hill of Detroit Cass Tech, while 2016 linebacker Daelin Hayes of Orchard Lake St.Mary’s added three more offers to already impressive list, the most by any camper.
