FOOTBALL RECRUITING: 2014 Southfield DE Lawrence Marshall announces Top 5 schools
This morning, 2014 Southfield Defensive End – Lawrence Marshall announce on his Twitter page (@ESPN_LO) a Top 5 in no order of Michigan, Oklahoma, Michigan State, Notre Dame and USC. A decision on what school he’s going to will be coming soon. During the winter, Marshall was the second 2014 recruit from the state of Michigan along with Damon Webb at Detroit Cass Tech to make a verbal commitment to Ohio State, but the soon-to-be senior still had the desire to explore his options. Because of that, he reopened his recruitment. Marshall will be one of the preseason favorites to make the Metro PCS Mr. Football Race going into the 2014 season. Southfield opens the season against the 2-time defending Division 1 State Champs – Detroit Cass Tech at the Prep Kickoff Classic on Friday, August 30th at 7:00pm at Wayne State.
