Gunning For The Eagles’ Nest — TC Star QB Jace Stuckey Chooses EMU

By: SCOTT BURNSTEIN, May 11, 2023, 3:57 pm

Scoreboards are ready to rattle across the Midwest with this nails-tough gunslinger making plans to play his college pigskin in the MAC.

Triton Central junior quarterback Jace Stuckey committed to Eastern Michigan this week. Stuckey is the truth under center plain and simple.

The stat line from his 2023 campaign is gaudy: 2,776 yards and 34 touchdowns while sporting a 70-percent completion rate. His TC club finished 10-2 and took home a Class 2A sectional crown.

Think Josh Allen mixed with old-school Phillip Rivers. This kid has a rocket arm, spunk, vision, pinpoint accuracy and mad moxie in the huddle. In other words: what more could you ask for in a future signal caller for your college program?

Stuckey (6-3, 185) picked up his EMU offer last month and will come to campus for the first time as an Eagle-in-training in late May. It was his first FBS bid and he’s the Eagles first commitment for their Class of ‘2024 recruiting crop. Penn, Eastern Kentucky, Murray State and Indiana State also offered.
