Harrison’s defense carries the Hawks to a 13-12 victory over Farmington

Farmington – Farmington Hills Harrison clinched the Oakland Activities Association White Division title by defeating Farmington 13-12 on Friday at Farmington.
The game was tied 6-6 at halftime.
Anthony Giovanni threw an 18-yard touchdown pass to Kordell Agee to give Harrison (6-1, 6-0) a 13-6 lead with 3:50 left in the third quarter.
A roughing the punter penalty helped set up the score.
Farmington scored on its next series on JDrew McGovern’s 25-yard touchdown pass to Daylen Baldwin with 11:50 to play. The score came on a fourth-and-14 and was set up on McGovern’s 46-yard pass to Shaaan Turner.
But the extra point kick was wide right.
After that series Farmington could manage just two first downs, one on a penalty.
Khalid Kareem led Harrison’s defense with four tackles, two sacks.
Farmington fell to 4-3 and must win its final two games to clinch a playoff spot.
