Are you ready for some FOOTBALL?? Voting for the 2022 Michigan High School Football Anvil contest - sponsored by Hungry Howies – has ended!
Congratulations to our Final Four below! The Anvil Award complements the Mr. Football contest but showcases the best Michigan High School “big men” - lineman and linebackers – in the state. To vote, please select the lineman or linebacker that you believe is having the best year in High School Football, and cast your vote!! Voting is limited to once every 3 minutes, so please refresh your browser after the allotted timeframe to cast another vote! Unlike any other state-wide award, this is the only one that allows the Michigan fans to weigh in! The winner of the online vote is automatically entered into the Final Four, and their chances of winning is increased by 20%.
The criteria that will be used to select the 2022 Anvil Award champion will be: • 30% - Performance Throughout Season • 20% - Level of Competition 20% - Online Vote • 15% - Big Game Performance • 10% - Team Success • 5% - Highly Recruited Athlete. Throughout the season, we will be updating player statistics and adding new candidates into the contest as their actual play and performance merits, with a goal of keeping the ten best players on the board. The final award selection and presentation will take place in December with all of our friends at Hungry Howies!
