Making A Grand Entrance – GVSU Snags Storey & Jones For ’23 Football Recruiting Crop

By: SCOTT BURNSTEIN, June 24, 2022, 3:05 pm

Grand Valley State reeled in a pair of top-notch commitments on the football field this week.

Brighton’s Jack Storey and West Bloomfield’s Kenny Jones both chose the GLIAC Lake Show over going the DI route.

The Future Lakers Breakdown:

Jack Storey (Brighton OL 6-6, 275 ’23) — Great footwork, great technique. Plays tough and smart. Had offers from Western Michigan and Kent State. Could have gone down the Ivy League trail as well with a bid from Brown

Kenny Jones (West Bloomfield 5-10, 175 ’23) — This slick, fleet-footed tailback should have a breakout campaign carrying the rock for WB in ’22. Michigan State, Kent State, Bowling Green, Buffalo, Marshall and Ferris State were all in the hunt for his services.
