McDonald’s All-American nominees announced — Michigan has 17 prospective players, Indiana 24
The nationwide nominees for the McDonald’s All-American Game were unveiled on Wednesday, with Michigan picking up 17 nominees — 13 girls and four boys, including the favorites for both Mr. Basketball (Romeo Weems) and Miss Basketball (Rickea Jackson) — and Indiana coming in with 24 total. The 13 boys nominees for Indiana include six from La Lumiere School.
The final rosters of 24 for each gender will be announced on on ESPN Thursday, Jan. 24, in preparation for the games on March 27.
